Jake Rowland


Jake Rowland ’22 is a senior from Atlanta, Georgia, studying political science with a minor in business. On campus, he belongs to the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science National Honors Society. He also serves as a peer learning associate within the political science department, focusing on helping other students with research methods. In previous years, Jake was a participant in the Eisenhower Institute’s Washington Connections program.

Outside of Gettysburg, Jake interned the past two summers as a law clerk in a personal injury firm, assisting with internal audits and service-related projects. He is also an Elks Foundation Scholar. As a volunteer, he has participated in the Elks 150th Anniversary in San Antonio, Texas, serving veterans in the surrounding community, as well as volunteering in other local communities assisting seniors and children in need. Jake is passionate about serving his country in a national security and intelligence capacity and hopes to pursue a career with an organization such as the FBI, Homeland Security, Department of Defense, or the CIA following graduation.
