This collected volume was published in December, 1995. It is the result of a multi-year grant project titled "Confict Resolution in Central Asia." The project brought together academics, policy makers and government officials from the five Central Asian states, Russia, and the United States to discuss and study the factors behind existing and potential conflict in the Central Asian region.
