Russ Feingold, former Wisconsin Senator, will speak about the post 9/11 era April 18 at Gettysburg College.
As a part of the Eisenhower Institute Campus Speaker Series, the 15th annual Blavatt Lecture, “While America Sleeps: A Wake Up Call for the Post 9/11 Era,” features Senator Feingold. Join us as he discusses his experience as a leading Democratic Senator during the presidencies of Bill Clinton and George W. Bush and hear Feingold’s forward-looking strategies for citizen engagement and congressional reform so Americans are not caught off guard by another terrorist attack.
The lecture will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Ballroom of the College Union Building at Gettysburg College. The lecture is free and open to the public.
All Gettysburg College students with a valid ID will receive a complimentary copy of Senator Feingold's new book, "While America Sleeps: A Wake Up Call for the Post 9/11 Era".
