On Tuesday, December 1, the Eisenhower Institute will present the 2009 Inside Politics Symposium.
At 4:00 PM in Gettysburg College Union Building room 260, the students participating in the Inside Politics program will present their projects from the semester.
At 7:30 PM in Gettysburg College Union Building room 260, political consultant Matthew Dowd will give a talk. Dowd has been a campaign strategist in races throughout the country. In 30 years, Dowd has worked for both Democrats and Republicans, most recently serving as chief strategist for President George W. Bush in 2004.
Inside Politics is a semester-long mentoring experience on the Gettysburg College campus and in Washington, D.C. designed for students from diverse academic disciplines. Each semester brings a different expert to campus to work with a select group of Gettysburg College students. This fall, sixteen Gettysburg College students have been working with journalist, speechwriter, and presidential historian Kasey S. Pipes.
