
On Tuesday, September 14, Gettysburg College and the Eisenhower Institute will host former governor of Pennsylvania and former attorney general of the United States Richard Thornburgh for the Constitution Day Lecture, entitled "The ADA: Twenty Years Later."
The Eisenhower Institute has awarded its 2010 Eisenhower/Roberts Graduate Fellowships to doctoral candidates Dipali Mukhopadhyay and Michael Beckley in support of their doctoral dissertation work at The Fletcher School at Tufts University and Columbia University, respectively.

The third annual Speak Up, Write Out conference took place on April 10, 2010 on the Gettysburg College campus. Organized by the Gettysburg College student media, Speak Up, Write Out was a daylong dialogue exploring the intricacies of the media and journalism industries.

Susan Eisenhower has been selected to serve on the Department of Energy's just-formed Blue Ribbon Commission on America's Nuclear Future. The fifteen member panel will provide recommendations to Congress and the White House on how the nation's used nuclear fuel and waste will be managed.
