Jameel Jaffer is Director of the National Security Project at the American Civil Liberties Union and a director of Equitas: The International Center for Human Rights Education. A human rights monitor for the military tribunals at Guantánamo Bay, he co-authored the 2007 book, Administration of Torture: A Documentary Record from Washington to Abu Ghraib and Beyond, with Amrit Singh.

Whitman became the first woman governor of New Jersey, serving from 1994 to 2001. In 2001, Whitman was appointed to the Environmental Protection Agency by President George W. Bush. After Whitman resigned her post in 2003, she authored the book, It's My Party Too: The Battle for the Heart of the GOP and the Future of America, and formed a political action committe. She currently serves as co-chair of the Republican Leadership Council.
