


Students interested in applying must be a Gettysburg College upper class students in good standing and show a demonstrated interest in issues of leadership and public policy, or a specific interest in Dwight D. Eisenhower. Participants must be willing and able to fulfill all of the described duties, including residency in the Eisenhower Institute house and following of the house rules.
Applicants are selected based on the strength of their academic record, a demonstrated commitment to issues of leadership, public policy, and/or the legacy of Dwight D. Eisenhower, a resonance of personal scholarly interests with Institute program themes, and maturity and independence (i.e., qualities that are requisite for a prominent role in an honors house).
