 President Putin Hosts Dr. Roald Sagdeev and Ms. Susan Eisenhower

MOSCOW, January 23 - Roald Sagdeev and Eisenhower Institute President Susan Eisenhower met with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday. The President invited the couple to his country estate to honor Roald Sagdeev on his birthday. The meeting which lasted more than an hour, included discussion on a range of issues, such as US-Russian cooperation in space and other bi-lateral topics, inter-ethnic relations in Russia, the international war on terrorism and the Iraq and North Korean crises. President Putin presented Dr. Sagdeev with a carved wood and enamel box and Ms. Eisenhower with a bouquet of roses with eucalyptus leaves.
