The Eisenhower Institute Hosts the Eisenhower Legacy Organizations

The Eisenhower Institute hosted a group of Eisenhower legacy organizations at the Institute's Washington headquarters in July 2006. The meeting convened representatives from the Eisenhower Foundation, the Eisenhower Presidential Library, Gettysburg College, the Eisenhower Fellowships, People to People, and Columbia University. Susan Eisenhower, president of the Eisenhower Group, Inc., chaired the meeting. All of the organizations agreed to unite to form the Eisenhower Legacy Consortium, a cooperative endeavor designed to foster and promote the ideals and objectives of the Eisenhower legacy.
