The Eisenhower National Security Series
U.S. Space Operations in the International Context
February 24, 2004

The Eisenhower Institute and the U.S. Army's Dwight D. Eisenhower National Security Series co-hosted a conference entitled, "U.S. Space Operations in the International Context." Among the participants were several high-ranking US Army officials as well as representatives from several space-faring nations, other branches of the US military, space industry, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

The agenda was divided into existing and prospective developments in military and commercial space, which have the potential to be controversial in the international arena.  (Pictured from left are: Col. David P. Trottier, Mr. Vladimir Rybachenkov and Lt. Col. Jim Downey.)

A report on this conference was distributed to over 300 government agencies, academic institutions and other related organizations.
