Sheila Supenski, Senior Administrative Assistant

Sheila R. Supenski has been employed by Gettysburg College since September of 2000 when she moved to Gettysburg from Detroit, MI.

She attended Wayne State University and spent 25 years in the medical field where she managed an Orthopedic Surgeons’ office, and a dental clinic. Prior to her move to Gettysburg she was the Operations Manger for Associated Medical Services, a durable medical equipment company. While at Gettysburg College she has served as the Administrative Assistant to Provost, Daniel DeNicola. In August of 2006 the college assumed the day-today operations of two new programs - Leonard Bernstein Center for Artful Learning and the Eisenhower Institute at Gettysburg College.

The positions she now holds are the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President for Program Development and the Senior Administrative Assistant for both, the Leonard Bernstein Center for Artful Learning and the Eisenhower Institute at Gettysburg College. She is also taking classes at the college to acquire her Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in Mathematics.

Supenski is a Trustee of St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church and a member of the Board of Directors for the Adams County Library System, the Adams County Arts Council, the Greater Gettysburg Area NAACP, the Adams County Human Relations Council and the Vice President/Co-Founder as well as the Program Coordinator of the Coalition for Community Care, a non-profit organization started in 2002. She has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Gettysburg YWCA, Collaborating for Youth and Dollar for Scholars.
