The Eisenhower Institute offers internships in its Washington, D.C., office for skilled, intelligent, and energetic undergraduate and graduate students interested in public policy. These are meaningful professional and learning opportunities that allow students to gain practical work experience in a presidential legacy organization.
Interns are appointed for a semester at a time; time will be structured to accommodate the program's needs and the intern's availability. Duties may vary according to the particular program area, but normally will involve research, event organization, and administrative support.
To apply, please send a cover letter (stating the term, days of the week, and likely hours of availability), a one-page résumé, and a recent, short writing sample to: Rick Farwell, Assistant Director, by e-mail to:firstname.lastname@example.org. We are not accepting phone calls for application purposes.
The Institute generally hires interns on a semester basis (fall, spring, summer). Please see the table below:

|Spring||Early Jan - Mid May|
