General Information:
The Eisenhower Institute offers internships in its Washington, DC, office for skilled, intelligent, and energetic undergraduate and graduate students interested in public policy. These are meaningful professional and learning opportunities; though these are volunteer (unpaid) positions, they do carry a small stipend intended as reimbursement for travel and lunches. An internship at the Institute allows students to work on substantive issues in a public policy think tank, to interact with influential leaders and scholars on these issues, and to gain practical work experience in a presidential legacy organization.
Interns are appointed for a semester at a time; time will be structured to accommodate the program's needs and the intern's availability. Duties may vary according to the particular program area, but normally will involve research, event organization, and administrative support.
The Institute is currently offering internships related to the following program themes:
The Role of the United States in the World
