Peter G. Seiden

Peter G. Seiden is a partner in the firm of Seiden Wayne, LLC, Counselors at Law, with offices in New York. A member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Seiden has practiced law for more than twenty-five years. His practice currently focuses on close relationships with banks and other financial institutions, as well as with owners and developers of industrial, commercial, and residential real estate.

An honors graduate of Gettysburg College, Seiden earned his J.D. from Rutgers University in 1976. He has remained active with his alma mater and is a member of the Gettysburg College board of trustees. He is a member of the New York Leadership Group, sponsored by the Alumni Office, in which capacity he has been an advocate for networking events in the city. Previously he served as a member of the College's Commission on the Future's task force for public affairs and public service.

As chairman of the I. W. Foundation, he has been instrumental in the awarding of several endowment grants to Gettysburg College in support of public policy programming and the activities of the Department of Political Science. The Foundation provides funds for educational scholarships and medical research. His personal philanthropic interests include support for organizations working in Harlem to provide playground and athletic equipment.
